1. Bangkok – this unique city in synonymous with Thailand. Truly unlike anywhere else on Earth, you have truly never lived until you have seen Bangkok. This is a city of contrasts and surprises around every corner. Expect to find noise, colour, decadence, and the world’s wildest nightlife. Go to Rattanakosin Island, you won’t regret it.

2. Ayutthaya – located a manageable 85 km north of Bangkok this historic city actually used to be the Thai capital. You cannot walk through its many parks and beautiful and historic Buddhist temples without feeling deeply calmed. It is the ideal change of pace after a wild Bangkok weekend, a place to relax, unwind and find your spiritual side.

3. Seaside! No trip to Thailand is complete without getting to the beach. Pattaya is a picture perfect resort destination. Whatever activities you like to take part in you will find that Pattaya caters to your tastes. Whether it is scuba diving, windsurfing or just relaxing on the beach you are guaranteed the best. There are also some excellent golf courses if playing a few holes catches your fancy. When the sun goes down the sleepy pace shifts gear – visit a go-go bar, grab a few beers and prepare to experience hedonism beyond your wildest dreams.

4. Chiang Mai – boasting temples, museums and elephant sanctuaries, the real star attraction in Chiang Mai is the natural world. Verdant countryside and majestic mountains gird this charismatic locale. The gateway for your explorations of the north of Thailand, once seen Chiang Mai will live in your heart forever.

5. Your Stomach! Thai cuisine is without a doubt some of the finest. As a gastronomic experience a trip to Thailand is sure to delight. Don’t be afraid to try unfamiliar foods, take time to ask for recommendations and enjoy!
